Butterflies and Letter B

I took our Bb Template and they cut them out and glued them in the shape of a Butterfly . We add 2nd wing on one side(lower case b) and two antenna and decorated them . B for Butterflies .
Also B for beads and bracelet. We made a Butterfly Bead Bracelet !

Then I open my Caterpillar

I give each child 3 part egg carton

one piece of paper

2 piece pipe cleaner

markers or paint to decorate your Caterpillar (egg carton section )

rubber band

Once they are done coloring the egg carton I wrap their caterpillar in there paper .

Talking about how the caterpillar build a cocoon .Ours are working really hard at this right now .

Now we laid them on the counter and at nap . You come along and glue down the Caterpillar down and add wings . Already for them to decorate after they open their surprise .

(Isn't metamorphosis amazing )

Missing letter

We read a book called Letters Lost and did a sheet that had missing letter and also gave them trace practice . We also took out the Alphabet puzzles today . These foam ones i picked up at Dollar store .

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Alphbet

This was really fun and the kids liked it . So first i read Chicka Chicka Boom boom . Then i handed the coconut tree out and i gave each one a dabber. When you hear the letter dab the letter . These where upper case .

First letter of your name

We started our letter review today and we started with each ones first letter of their name . we took packaging peanuts and dipped in water and they instantly glue them self to the paper .
