5 Senses sound

Sounds we read Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you hear ? We listen to about 10 different sounds on the computer . I picked sounds like vacuum ,church bell (we hear this each day at noon ) and phone . more house sound . Try to guess what sound it was . We also closed our eyes and listen to the sounds in the room. Then we made books Miss Jessie (students name )what do u hear .

5 Senses touch

hard , rough , cold , hot ,soft , smooth . Touch box . It is great listening to them describing what they are touching . We also played shaving cream great touch activity . I also let them use the touch box so they can add toys and guess what it is. Block,stuff animal,Lego, beanbag etc. on their own.

Smelling jars

peanuts ,oranges and grapes their nose smalls

I Keep THe smelling jars out all morning .They enjoy guessing and using them .I used spices , pine scent ,fruit and candy for my scents .
