Oh Christmas Oh Christmas tree

So remember my good will ribbon for .69 cents so today we made Christmas tree . I cut 5/6 strips different sizes and had them put in order largest to smallest to make a tree shape . After they had them lined up then i gave them the glue to glue down the ribbon and a Star to put on top . (The twos had a hard time with these .)I though they just glue the ribbon on paper but they both only did one and where done and just like to glue .

Then we started these trees which you cn tell yet but will post #2 soon when dry . They loved the eye dropers . i used color paint but food color would be great also .

Fab Friday bulletin board ......

So Thursday is the letter of the week . we are on Hh. Nothing great we wrote a bunch of H 's made our list of h words. And they color a big Hh. That was yesterday . So today we ..

Today is Friday and the beginning of the month for me it mean changing our wall (bulletin board ) we are making A Christmas tree . Hand prints and adding present for each child. Am not sure how long i been making this my December wall but i love it . I love anything that includes children name , pictures and art work .

First i trace each hand of each child on green . Then i cute them out in sets of each hand or multiple set i want at least 20 hands . After i have them cut . I hang them up side down so figure hang down in a tree shape As you see purple was the theme for the tree . Not use how they all decide this . These was done buy 5 two years , 1 three yrs and 1 4yr old all girls but one .

Then while am cutting children are decorating their present under the tree , color some paper ornaments .

When all done we have a great decoration for December .

Picture Counting books

Ok Isaw this idea last night and loved it . I saw it over at Teachpreschool . It from craftandartforchildren.blogspot.com (she got great home ideas)

And I know I need to make this . I also think this would be a great Christmas gift for children . My work is in progress but I wanted to get you all thinking . This one going on our book shelve but I might do some for gift for the children . You also could be more creative I did it quick . I should of did 1 and used the goldfish we have . I was lucky i have these photo books but am pretty sure dollar store sales this . Also you can get many free print at a lot of differnt store right now with the holidays .I know i have 50 waiting to be used at cvs . Here a few picture so you get the idea . Some i really like other need work .

Santa Count Down Advent Calendar

I have been doing the same Advent Calendar for around 15 years (maybe i should change it up ) .I made one for here I'll do with whole group plus they each made one to take home with direction how to count down with their child. I printed it from

Gumball painting Letter Gg

so we missed last Thursday letter as of the Holiday so we making it up today Gg . So we did our list of the words that start with g (child name words that start with Gg) Grace ,God good ,gumball hint hint ) and so on . So we painted with gumballs . They had a large cut out of g and rolled gumballs over the G in our paint boxes . They also have some practice writing Gg .

As you see i love things i already have around old yogurt cntainer for the paint , i do have fancy lakeshore ones but i think these are perfect . You see my fancy boxes that cost around 20 each . i dont have trays something i want but actual these work great and cheap . they just think this kind of painting magical and i hope they Gum and g stick .

December ideas

So am working on December ideas . Here a few i started .

Working with the find motor and pincher skills (clothes pins are harder then you think)

color of course and more fine motor . Plus number and counting .

so i got the tree from DLtK's .com . I was and you could just do a tree shape . I also wanted mine a Little bigger so i glued them on the green paper .Green is our color of the month also so just enforces .
