January Table games

Here from last year snow balls number recognition. I give them thongs to add the snowballs.
2nd one is roll the dice add the number and cover the snow flake .
3rd game is mitten and boots match , color recognition and more fine motor skills hanging the mittens.
Last one is pattern snowflakes .

Rainbow Table Activity

So I finished some cognitive activity with colors . Mostly for my 2's but i know the older ones will have to try ..With these table activities.
First one a coffee can i cut a silt in the top and some smaller holes . I had my school age children cut circle out of foam to slide down the opening and color some Popsicle sticks to fit in the smaller opening .
The 2nd is matching color plus working this fine motor skills . I seen this over at Teach Preschool sorry i try to search for who blog it also came off it . Nice about both these no tray or basket needed piece fit inside . Easy clean and easy storage . Sorry this picture are not very good at all .. Boy they are funner then they look .

St Patty Day table Activities

So today I only got two ideas completed for tomorrow . You can easy make your own but iprinted my at http://www.kidssoup.com/

I printed two in color and two in black and white. Then laminated them .

This are good for counting , matching , sorting number order . One set for number order and matching . Next set for counting out green counting (pompom balls) .

March table time and Dr. Seuss

So in Celebrations of DR. Seuss we will spend next two weeks Celebrating him and his books . I wanted a beading skills and pattern so i got these great wood piece and painted them white and red . Just used Tampa paint . After a week at table i will add them to block area for stacking . Again i used my Strew berry container to hold them . Added pipe cleaner for stringing.

Then i made some hat pattern and cut strips of four colors . I use a white shirt box for the tray .

Here a little Surprise Cat and The Hat leaves for us tomorrow at Circle time . Dr .Seuss letter box . I gear this down to Preschool . I took another Strawberry box . I taped the poem to the top of book and have my magnet board to bring out with our surprise . The poem reads

Please look in this box
From Thing One and Thing Two,

Tomorrow Monday we will start with Cat and the Hat and The Cat and The Hat comes back .
We also will make Dr . Seuss hats for the wall .
Tuesday we move onto another book and Wednesday to Celebrate his Birthday we will do green eggs and Ham . See the green eggs in the play kitchen area . I bet we will all be eating a lot of green eggs this week .

Febuary Fild folder part 2

So i have not used file folder games in years but as i decide this year each month will have new table games i decide this was a good time to make some new ones . I made a Dinosaur color match , Alphabet one and a counting heart one . One for each level of children i have in my care age two to five . There are many site to print pre-made ones or easy to make your own (April i'll show you some of my old ones i made ) or just easily cute out the hearts your self . It nice to label each game and even add directions . Then i use a zip lock bag to keep pieces in and also can tape it to back .

Feburary Eye spy + part 1

Letter N =newspaper O , P and Q number 6 .. Color Red , We have Valentines day , dinosaur Ground hog day and President day ..

So i made an eye spy bottle of ABC's . I took empty bottle , scrap book letter from dollar section at target and a bag of rice . I was going to color it red for February but decide not to though could see the letters better in white . Then i took a picture of all the letter and laminated them and put on change to hang form the bottle . shack and find . The first picture from the back of the letter package which i think make a great eye spy card also .
