Gardening in the yard ,True play and learning

So today letter Thursday but look at all the gardening learning we did outside today .
We found two worms we played with and then played with  peony flowers

Seeds

We have seeds and  magnifying glass to exam the seeds . We also looked at all the seeds we ate at lunch . We guess what seeds this is from today like a pinecone . We planted our green bean seeds in the widow so we can learn about the roots and what do seeds need to grow. (tomorrow and Friday lesson)
We read the carrot seed to kick off today .  
We added the match the seed to the plant tray ..

Above ground and below ground vegetables

We started our gardening unit today . What food grows above ground what grows below and what about  what grows in tree's? Tomorrow we do seeds .

Horses on the Farm

stick horse /ponies . so i got image of a horses head . now don't do what i did and face same direction they need to face opposite . then i print two for each child and we color and cut out . I added a rein and used hot glue to keep all together. I see this idea over at Almost unschoolers .
