Caterpillar noddles and butterfly noddles (butterfly eggs meatballs ) leafs (salad) . It is funny when asked if anyone ate a butterfly or caterpillar before i get yes answers . hehe

Here a look at where are Caterpillar are at now , We made Caterpillar surprise today and wrap our Caterpillar in a cocoon and when get up from nap . surprise they will have wings and they can finish them into a beautiful butterfly !This idea i wrote years ago into a lesson plan 2007 or something but love to do it each butterfly unit . It came from mailbox book 1.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

The children make books today to retell the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar today . I printed it from making learning fun . Also my very old felt board pieces to retell story on there own . I put a basket with piece by there for them to add .. (I teach them to count and they can remember what food comes next . ) one apple, two plum, 3 ETC . Came cute then we reread the book together .

Butterflies punch art

I know you cannot tell with the camera but these all are butterflies punch art in the widow .  I found large push pin at the office store and we used mouse pads under out pictures but i have used books before and then they had a cute coloring page to do after if they wanted . this is a great for fine muscle work out . they where tired after they did it . but they do look great in the widow.
