Planting

Theses Day the children and I do container gardening . They will weed , water and care for them plus Eat them . Today we started . We got all the pots cleaned out . One little boy would of spent all day hoeing the pot HE LOVED THAT JOB!

We planted our pinapple top (it will not grow a pinaqpple )

We planted our Green beans from widow bags

We planted Sunflower seeds .

We still need to plant tomato plants and maybe another veggie I'll let my girls choose

Zina seeds

And some bulbs i was going to try this year with them ?

Before reading we made a listed of food that have seeds . They came up with some great foods .

We predicted what happen when seeds land somewhere . Goes prefect with our book this week The Tiny Seed.

We did more and less with Seeds . Some even counted all seeds and wrote the number next to the picture .

We did a grow with seeds sheet .

The Tiny Seeds

ReCap we planted our bean seeds yesterday in the window . We had Food with Seeds inside Apples and watermelon and guessed how many seed where inside each fruit .I saved the seeds .

I made theses seed cards .I made these disk of seeds for the children to feel and examine . I also put a magnify glass in the science area . They can also match up the seeds with the pictures .

The seed disk are made with hot glue .
