Swin into school

Well today we changed our bulletin board . We are doing ocean theme next few weeks and i think we will keep the fish board until school so prefect .

First i traced the children's hands . They can cut out or you . I did it while they water colored a sea theme on white paper .

Then we bubble painted . (a dish of dish soap and food coloring .) We blow bubbles with a straw and touched our fish to the bubbles . ) gives great effects .

I just added Swim into School .

We have a few more to add so prefect summer theme !

We changed our Bulletin board . We keep spring flowers for our Butterflies .

Friday Shamrocks Rock ! bulletin board

So we made large shamrocks today .
mosaic collection of tissue paper and over laid with a cut out of shamrock .

I like this project children two years to 11 year old did it and all come looking great. It does not matter your skill lever .

Tissue paper very of color

cut tissue paper in strips and cut into 1 inch to 2 inch pieces

glue /water mixture . 1/2 water to glue what i use .

Then when dry we put on wall for our new bulletin board .

I have them paint a layer of glue and then lay a piece of tissue paper down then another layer glue on top .

January Board

I almost forgot to post so on my wall i post this month calendar . new photo of the children at play and i then include some of their art work .I pick from one of the Themes from the month . So of course this month snowman . I wanted them a little colorful and i took idea i seen over here . And we added our twist . This is a 2 step project but can be done in a day i just let a little drying in between.

First i gave them white paper

glue and water we call it our glue paint

our bag of scape tissue paper (or cut some)

I told them to cover all the white . you see how twos and three do .

Then when dry i cut out a snowman on white paper ,boots and a hat

I had them glue them on .

Then i did my favorite ok one of my favorite tricks and i put some black paint on paper plate and i drip the end of pencil into the paint for them to make eyes , mouth and buttons . easy .

When finished they draw a carrot nose in orange of course .

pay close attion to the the top right one .. (maybe he walking on his head ? it or just really cold out side .)another did not under stand coal mouth it need a real mouth )

Fab Friday bulletin board ......

So Thursday is the letter of the week . we are on Hh. Nothing great we wrote a bunch of H 's made our list of h words. And they color a big Hh. That was yesterday . So today we ..

Today is Friday and the beginning of the month for me it mean changing our wall (bulletin board ) we are making A Christmas tree . Hand prints and adding present for each child. Am not sure how long i been making this my December wall but i love it . I love anything that includes children name , pictures and art work .

First i trace each hand of each child on green . Then i cute them out in sets of each hand or multiple set i want at least 20 hands . After i have them cut . I hang them up side down so figure hang down in a tree shape As you see purple was the theme for the tree . Not use how they all decide this . These was done buy 5 two years , 1 three yrs and 1 4yr old all girls but one .

When all done we have a great decoration for December .
